Slipstream's DIY TT GPS Mount

Image- CyclingNews.com

Of all the innovative bike tech at this year's Tour of California prologue, team Garmin-Slipstream's bikes were some of the most impressive. Their mechanics also seem to have found an interesting solution to a common problem- mounting a bike computer on time trial bars. Using a bar extender is a good solution, but it can interfere with arm positioning and offers limited fore-aft adjustment. The Garmin mechanics used zip ties to fashion what appears to be a highly functional mount. I was able to recreate it in a few minutes- it's rock solid!
